Boston dominates America today

Today marks the day that Boston, Massachusetts moons the rest of America.

1.) Patriots' Day- If it wasn't for the battle of Lexington and Concord, who knows if I'd have the freedom to be blogging to you here today. Those were the first battles of the Revolutionary War and they are remembered on this day. Not to mention, the greatest team in the last decade is named the New England Patriots.

2.)Boston Marathon- The most important and biggest marathon in America, and arguably the world. This year an American came in third!

3.) The Red Sox played today during the Marathon like they do every year. They won their fifth straight game and I think it's safe to say, thanks to the Orioles, we are back on track.

4.)The Boston Bruins were unfortunately not able to spend this historic day in Boston. They were too busy running train all over Montreal. The Bruins took a 3-0 series lead, and look to put the Habs out of their misery later this week. Chuck Kobasew outskating the Habs lineup in the final minute to put away the empty netter represents this team to a tee. They just want it more. This team is going to the Stanley Cup, period.

5.) The Boston Celtics fought off the pesky Bulls once again in a dramatic UCONN showdown between Ray Allen and Ben Gordon. Gordon may have had the better stats, but it was Ray Allen who had the clutch three at the end of the game. Wow, that game was amazing. Oh and Vinny Del Negro, when one of your guys is on an absolute tear in the game, it may not be a good idea to accidently bench him coming out of the final timeout. Just a thought. Celts even the series 1-1, and that was definitely a must win game for them.
